Technical Specifications
The specifications for some events and various implements change with the age of the competitor. This allows for the changes in ability as we progress through the age groups. Included in the technical specifications is the order in which events are contested in the multi-event competitions.

Note: Australian Throwing Specifications for W75 +
Australia will continue to use the trial throwing specifications for the W75+ in local, state and national championships. These specifications for W75+ are: Shot 2 kg, Hammer 2kg, Weight 4kg. The discus at 0.75kg and the javelin at 400gm remain the same as the WMA specifications.
